Application
Cathodic protection cables are part of cathodic protection systems. It sends the current from the cathodic protection system to the metal structure to stop it corroding. Cathodic protection cables are connected to the cathodic protection system and transmit current to the metal structure, forming a protective current field to prevent corrosion.
Cathodic protection cables do the following:
Transmit current: Send current from cathodic protection system to metal structure to form protective current field.
Protect metal structures. Cathodic protection cables help form a protective current field, slow down or prevent corrosion of metal structures, and extend the service life of metal structures.
Connect the electrode to ensure the normal operation of the cathodic protection system.

The model of cathodic protection cable
Cathodic protection cables are commonly used in cathodic protection systems to connect cathodic protection devices and metal structures to protect the metal structures from corrosion. Cathodic protection cables can be divided into many types based on different application requirements, including:
Cathodic protection down conductor: used to connect the output of the cathodic protection device to the protected metal structure. It is usually used for cathodic protection of buried pipelines, oil tanks, ships and other metal structures.
Cathodic protection connecting wire: used to connect different parts of the cathodic protection system, such as the connection between the cathodic protection device and the down conductor.
Cathodic protection monitoring line: used to connect the monitoring equipment of the cathodic protection system to monitor the working status and effect of the cathodic protection system.
Internal connecting wire of the cathodic protection device: used to connect the electrodes and other components inside the cathodic protection device.
These different types of cathodic protection cables play different roles in the cathodic protection system, and it is important to select the appropriate type of cathodic protection cable based on the specific cathodic protection system design and requirements.
