German Standard 0.6/1kv NYCY & NYCWY Cable
product detail
Description of NYCWY Cable
NYCWY Power cables are used for energy supply, especially underground. They are used in subscriber networks, power stations, and for control impulses and test data. For increased electrical and mechanical protection. These cables are installed in open air, underground, underwater, indoors, and in cable ducts. The corrugated concentric conductor (CW) can be used as a neutral, protective, or earth conductor. It can also be used as a screen, for example, earthed-connected protection against contact. The typical construction of corrugated concentric conductors (Ceander) allows for many more cable joints without cutting any conductor, ensuring reliability.
Description of NYCY Cable

NYCY and NYCWY cables must be used correctly to get the best results.
NYCY Cable:
Installation environment: NYCY cable can be installed anywhere. Make sure the environment is right for the cable and don't expose it to too much moisture or stress.
Cable Routing: Use industry best practices and guidelines to properly route NYCY cable in cable ducts, conduits, or embedded in plaster to prevent damage and ensure reliability.
Compliance: Make sure that NYCY cable is installed correctly, following the relevant standards and regulations.
NYCWY cable:
Mechanical Protection: NYCWY cables are for use in places where they need to be protected from damage. When using NYCWY cable, make sure it is installed in an area where it may be subject to stress, such as direct burial or outdoor installation.
Ground installation: If you bury NYCWY cable, follow the right depth requirements and use the right protective measures to prevent damage.
Follow industry standards for proper installation of NYCWY cable, including grounding, termination, and protection from damage.
